Old Churches in Downtown Rio. Beautiful carved wood, from top to bottom. It was built in 1567. The baptism fountain is the oldest in Rio.

Santa Teresa, the beautiful neighborhood with lots of stories to tell. In the hills of Rio, this little place is magic. The trolley takes you up there and the view is breath taking. If you go to Rio, this is a must. Good restaurants; only few, nice old buildings to admire, people playing real samba at the "botecos" and lots of craft shops. It's like going back in time. Santa Teresa is hidden but not unknowed.

Rua do Lavradio, Street Fair in Rio, Brazil. This fair takes place in the Old Downtown. It happens on the first Saturday of every month. There are lots of restaurants, brazilian music, crafts, beautiful antique stores with unique pieces. The food is EXCELENT!
